Singapore’s secret lies in its highly-skilled workforce, stability, conducive business environment, knowledge- and research-based economy and advanced and efficient infrastructure. 

They have turned the city-state into a globally competitive manufacturing hub where multi-national corporations and local enterprises thrive. In fact, manufacturing accounts for a significant part of Singapore’s Gross Domestic Product and labour force, and it is still growing. 

The government is committed to the long term growth of the manufacturing sector, thus underscoring its importance to Singapore, and Singapore Economic Development Board has pledged to increase Singapore’s manufacturing output to S$300 billion by 2018.
