This half-day MEC plant tour gave 80 participants the opportunity to learn from the best manufacturers. The participants attended one of four plant tours by past award winners of MAXA: GlaxoSmithKline, Keppel FELS, Panasonic Factory Solutions and Tetra Pak.

Each plant tour showcased world-class manufacturing facilities and best practices, after which participants exchanged ideas and thoughts on manufacturing excellence during a facilitated discussion.

Nearly 90% of attendees responded that viewing operations and sharing best practices was most valuable. In addition 10% of the attendees said that they “derived the most value from the facilitated group discussions”.
