The MAXA Manufacturing Excellence Community Event (MEC) was officially launched in 2009 as part of our initiative to transform MAXA from an annual Award event to a continuous journey to promote manufacturing excellence culture in Singapore. The introduction of MEC has enriched the MAXA programme, and created a platform for manufacturing-related companies to:

• Share manufacturing best practices with thought leaders from academia and industry.
• Network within the manufacturing community.
• Engage with MAXA as a continuous journey.

The MEC Event complements our annual Manufacturing Excellence Award to develop manufacturing culture and raise standards in Singapore. Every MAXA cycle will consist of the award and MEC Event.
